Refund & Return Policy

At Applied Business Solutions (ABS), we take pride in delivering world-class IT services and solutions. Because most of our offerings are custom, digital, or service-based, this policy clarifies when refunds or returns may or may not apply.


General Policy

All purchases made through theabsolutions.com or any official ABS representative are considered final once work has commenced, access credentials have been delivered, or resources have been allocated.

Refunds or returns are only approved at our discretion and in exceptional circumstances as outlined below.

Eligibility for Refund

A partial or full refund may be granted only if:

  • The purchased service has not yet been started or delivered.
  • A technical issue on our side prevents project initiation and cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
  • You have made a duplicate payment in error.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to billing@theabsolutions.com

Non-Refundable Items and Services

  • No refunds will be issued for:
    • Custom or ongoing web / app development, software customization, or consulting once work has begun.
    • Web hosting, domain registration, SSL, or server setup fees, as these require upfront provisioning.
    • Third-party licenses or vendor products purchased on your behalf.
    • Completed projects where deliverables or access credentials have already been provided.

Return Policy for Physical Products

If you purchase any hardware or physical item (such as CCTV equipment or POS devices):

  • Returns are accepted only for defective or damaged goods reported within 7 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories included.
  • ABS reserves the right to inspect and verify the returned item before issuing any replacement or refund.
  • Shipping and customs charges are non-refundable and are the buyer’s responsibility unless ABS is at fault.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Processing time is 5 – 10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
  • Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for the original transaction.
  • Any transaction or processing fees (bank, gateway, or currency conversion) will be deducted from the refund amount.

ABS’s Rights

  • ABS reserves the right to refuse or limit refunds if abuse of the policy is suspected.
  • Projects canceled by the client after commencement are non-refundable, though ABS may, at its sole discretion, offer credit toward future services.
  • This policy does not affect statutory rights where applicable under local consumer law.
